The purpose of the MCHS Choirs are to: 

1. Develop skill, technique, and appreciation for the art of vocal music. 

2. Promote positive self-image through hard work, determination, and dedication. 

3. Promote teamwork, responsibility, focus, and concentration. 

4. Foster leadership, accomplishment, self-worth, teamwork, pride, and appreciation of music among singers, parent/guardians, and audience members.
