The mission of NHS is to honor students who have excelled in scholarship, leadership, service and character. The purpose of this organization shall be to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character in the students of secondary schools.

Students must be invited to apply for the National Honor Society. Invitations go out based on GPA and go to Juniors and Seniors who qualify in the Fall and Spring.
