Raider Competitions or "Raiders" as they are commonly called are athletic competitions held at JROTC programs around the world. Events take place outdoors and usually consist of individual strength test (push-ups, tire-drag, obstacle course, etc.), distance team running events, first aid events, and some form of rope bridge construction/crossing.
Raider is for those cadets who wish to challenge their physical endurance, mental strength, and their leadership. All cadets who participate in Raider team will have a chance to strengthen their leadership, improve on their fitness, and participate in competitions against other school Raider teams.
Raiders is for people who want to put their fitness and endurance on the line, people who wish to challenge themselves.

Cadets with the fastest tryout times and that consistently attend practice are considered for competitions
The 2025 - 2026 SY Raider team will be limited to 18 competitors, the best times during tryouts will compete
Cadets that try out but do not meet the minimum standards may come to practice during fitness training days
The minimum physical requirements are necessary to minimize injuries during competition
