RMIT 2025 Scholarships
Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars Program
This flagship high school program is open to Year 10 students from all Victorian and select interstate border schools, offering access to exclusive University events and academic enrichment activities for two years.
Applications will open to current Year 10 students in August 2024.
University Scholarships for Year 12 High Achievers
The University of Melbourne – The Hansen Scholarship
If you are planning to study at The University of Melbourne in 2025, you should consider applying for the Hansen Scholarship. Stage 1 applications are now open and close on 3 April. You must be able to prove financial disadvantage to be eligible. http://bit.ly/2TeHYgn
Australia National University (ANU) – Tuckwell Scholarship
If you are planning to study at ANU in 2024, you should consider applying for the Tuckwell Scholarship. Applications for 2025 Scholarships will open on 7 March 2024. https://tuckwell.anu.edu.au/
Good Universities Guide - Scholarships
There are currently more than 3000 scholarships available to Australian students, across both the higher education and vocational sectors. Scholarships can cover an array of costs from tuition fees to living and accommodation costs, our advice is to investigate your options early on as the amount of information to get through and applications to fill can be overwhelming.
Nursing and Midwifery Scholarships
All new domestic students enrolling in a professional-entry nursing or midwifery course in 2023 and 2024 will receive a scholarship of up to $16,500 to cover course costs. Students will receive $9,000 while they study and the remaining $7,500 if they work in Victorian public health services for two years.

YouThrive Victoria provides opportunities for young rural Victorians to build knowledge, skills, leadership capacity and aspirations. We offer university, vocational and community scholarships; leadership development opportunities; transition, career and community mentoring; aspiration building workshops; virtual connections and wrap around care for young people as they move from school into adult lives.

There are a range of scholarships (up to $6500) offered by the Bendigo Bank Scholarship program, including scholarships for:
students living in a town where there is a community bank (offered at various times throughout the year),
indigenous students,
students attending TAFE,
rural and disadvantaged students and for students studying agriculture or related fields.
Applications for most of these scholarships open 1st Dec.

The Doxa Foundation has a wonderful Cadetship program for students attending university. The program supports talented young people facing challenging life circumstances to complete university and gain the skills needed for an employable future. The Cadetship program is open to Year 12 students transitioning to university and is a three to five-year program, dependent on the length of the degree and the sponsorship model.
The Cadetship program provides:
up to 8 weeks placement in a sponsor company,
skilled mentors and staff to guide and support you
professional development and vocational training
annual book and online resource allowance
industry networking and volunteering opportunities
weekly financial assistance for living expenses
community of like-minded and supportive individuals
Eligibility:
The Cadetship program is open to young people facing challenging life circumstances who have finished high school and are about to go to university. This may include, but is not restricted to:
Experiencing financial hardship,
Having an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage,
Coming from a newly arrived migrant or refugee background,
Having faced stressful life events,
Coming from a rural or remote area and
Being the first in their family to have the opportunity to study at university and pursue a professional career.
