Roof Tile Careers: Building a Brighter Future for the Industry

Here at Roof Tile Careers, we're excited to see the positive momentum building in our industry! We've kicked off the year with a fantastic increase in the number of apprentices entering the trade – a total of 210! This influx of new talent is essential for ensuring a skilled workforce continues to build Australia's future.

We are now linked with Trades Woman Australia, a fantastic organisation dedicated to empowering women to pursue careers in the trades. Through this collaboration, we're working hard to increase female participation in roof tiling, opening exciting opportunities for women who are passionate about working with their hands and entering the building and construction industry.

We understand the importance of nurturing young talent early on. That's why we're also working closely with Head Start, a program that facilitates school-based apprenticeships. By introducing roof tiling to students while they're still in school, we can spark their interest in the trade and provide a clear pathway for them to enter the workforce with valuable qualifications and experience.

This multifaceted approach – attracting new apprentices and fostering school-based programs – is key to building a strong and sustainable future for the roof tiling industry.
