I achieved an MBA from UCF and spent 20+ years working with Fortune 500 companies primarily in the wireless industry including AT&T, GTE, T-Mobile, and Contel. I held senior management positions responsible for the overall P&L and general management operation for local wireless / cellular operations including Tampa and Orlando MTAs.
For the past eight years, I transitioned to an entrepreneur small business owner in the technology sector. I have been a Google Cloud Partner for five years and currently sell and service Google's G Suite services to SMB’s in Florida. I am a certified Google administrator and consider myself a leading expert on Google Cloud services and Google smart devices (phones, speakers, displays, wearables).
Using George Jenkins lessons as a benchmark, I realized that the Publix culture requires involvement in every part of the business. To optimize my potential value in some future partnership opportunity, I spent the last several months working nights as a Publix grocery associate in store 696. I reasoned that by living firsthand the Publix values, “ Be There” and “Treat Customers like Royalty,” I would experience not only the employee culture but also the observation and interaction of Publix customers within the store and how they utilize technology and smart devices.
My ask is for you to take a chance and let's see if we can develop a value-based role of Director of Customer Engagement Strategy for Smart Devices either as a contractor or Publix employee. Lets’ work together to unlock the unlimited technology opportunities with AI and smart consumer devices and non-traditional features such as online shopping (Instacart), grocery pickup, shopping lists, in-store smart assistant device usage, valet service, and Aprons recipe smart device interaction.
