Publix's Information Systems (IS) team is a diverse group of more than 1,000 technical professionals dedicated to maximizing the value of our company through the application of information technology.

Publix has a commitment to investing in new technology, architecture, infrastructure, and integration platforms. We understand how using modern technology can improve the efficiency of our support processes and enhance our customers' shopping experience.

The Publix IS team designs and develops proprietary applications and infrastructure to support all of Publix's business areas by:

• Creating a diverse environment among its applications along with wide area and local area networks connecting thousands of computers in stores, offices, distribution centers, and manufacturing plants.
• Supporting the financial EFT network for point-of-sale and ATM transactions at the stores.
• Providing customer support for all retail, office, and warehouse hardware and software resources.
