From Seed to Plant Exploration Activity

Plants are an important part of our planet. They give us oxygen to breathe, food to eat, and even shade on hot days. Plants go through a lot of grow, and there are a lot of steps a plant takes from when it is a seed to become an adult plant. The best way to see this cycle is to grow a plant on your own.

This is the perfect time of year to grow a plant at home! Plants are easy to grow, you just need to follow the steps of planting and growing a plant.

All of the things you need were sent home on the 27th and the 28th.

Use the videos below to put faces on your cup, or create your own face creation for your cup.

You will plant grass in your cup which will turn into your cup's hair.

Follow the following steps found in the video labeled steps.

Make sure to water it often (but not too much), keep it in a sunny spot, and that it doesn't get too cold.

After you plant it, and are waiting for it to grow, write the steps of how a seed grows in a paragraph with five sentences.

Then, take a before and after picture and send it to your teacher.
