Mr. Medrano is a native El Pasoan, born and raised. Mr Medrano holds a Bachelors of Art in Education degree granted by The University of Texas At El Paso, where he graduated in 2008. Mr Medrano Has been teaching art for CISD for the last 12 years. Eight of those at the Middle School Level and 4 at the high school level.

Mr Medrano currently teaches Art 1 and 2 at HHS.

Mr. Medrano's philosophy is "The art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery"
