Pedro Flores was born and raised in El Paso, TX. Mr. Flores received his Bachelors Degree in Music from the University of Texas at El Paso. This is currently his second year teaching. Mr. Flores previously taught in Horizon High School, Horizon Middle School, and Ricardo Estrada Middle School from 2021-2022. Mr. Flores has been performing on stage since the age of eleven. He has been the drummer for local bands such as: Le Voyage, Footprints, and currently Cosmic Promise. Mr. Flores has also taught numerous private and group lessons in percussion and piano. Mr. Flores accepted the music director position for Red Sands Elementary in 2022.

Red Sands is an outstanding place for your child to continue to develop socially, set and reach goals, and exercise leadership skills. Our goal is to forge and foster the growth of your child musically, academically, and into a competent individual in the game of life.

Mr. Flores will be sharing his strengths and opening up a brand new and exciting Drumline Club at Red Sands! The Drumline Club will consist of students that display excellent musical ability, stellar behavior, leadership skills, high academic achievement, good participation in class, and has the initiative to stay after school. The Drumline Club will be the heartbeat of Red Sands through their high energy cadences during parades and other special events during the school year!
