Many of our students demonstrate exceptional examples of being R.A.R.E. To recognize these stellar contributions to our school community, staff will nominate students for our R.A.R.E. Award by using our positive referral form. This will not take the place of Student of the Month.

Students who receive the RARE Award will be entitled to the following:

• Name and Picture posted on the School 11 RARE Wall of Fame
• Names will be announced to the school
• Receive a prize
• A letter from the principal will go home to the parents to inform them of their child’s success.
• They get to choose a prize from the SWAG Wagon (once up and running)- this is RARE gear that they can wear at anytime once they are a winner. Can be a hat-shirt-socks, sash etc.

Each grade level teacher is required to nominate one student per month. Other staff members may also nominate students.
