Respectful

When you are Respectful, you are polite, kind, and treat others and your environment how you want to be treated.

You are being RESPECTFUL when you

• Follow adult and safety patrol directions.
• Think about other people’s feelings.
• Listen when someone is talking.
• Clean up your area.
• Help others.

You are NOT being RESPECTFUL when you

• Laugh when others make mistakes.
• Take/touch someone else’s things.
• Walk away/ ignore someone who is talking to you.
• Do not keep your hands and feet to yourself.
• Damage something on purpose.

Attentive

When you are Attentive, you are completely focused on what you are doing and where you are going.

You are being ATTENTIVE when you

• Watch where you are walking.
• Give eye contact when someone is speaking.
• Are aware of what is around you.
• Focus on completing your work.
• Pay 100% attention during emergency drills.

You are NOT being ATTENTIVE when you

• Daydream and/or doodle in class.
• Walk forward in the halls, but look backwards at your friends.
• Talk to your friends during a teacher’s lesson.
• Pay attention to something in class OTHER than what is being taught.
• Talk when others are speaking.

Responsible

When you are Responsible, you make good decisions and accept the consequences when you’ve made a bad decision.

You are being RESPONSIBLE when you

• Cooperate with adult directions.
• Arrive on time.
• Hand in your homework on time.
• Admit to a mistake or bad decision.
• Are prepared with materials for class.
• Ask adults and safety patrol for help

You are NOT being RESPONSIBLE when you

• Do not tell the truth.
• Enter class late.
• Lose important papers or materials.
• Come to class unprepared.
• Blame others for something you did.

Enthusiastic

When you are Enthusiastic, you show interest , excitement, and enjoyment about something and are motivated to do your best!

You are being ENTHUSIASTIC when you

• Congratulate others for a job well done.
• Participate in class.
• Attend school events.
• Encourage others to try their best.
• Ask questions to learn more about something.
• Wear your School 11 shirt on spirit days

You are NOT being ENTHUSIASTIC when you

• Are negative and complain about something.
• Do not participate in school spirit days.
• Whine if you don’t win something.
• Fall asleep in class.
