All Purpose Room

• Enter quietly, sit down immediately with your class, face the stage, and take off any hats/hoods.
• Keep your hands and feet to yourself.
• Remain seated with your class, raise your hand to ask permission to get up.
• During an assembly, pay attention and remain quiet at all times.
• During lunch, be ready with your food choices, keep the line moving, clean up your area, and help others with their garbage.
• Report unsafe situations to adults.
• In an emergency, follow the school safety procedures.

Arrival

• Arrive on time; go immediately to your class section/line.
• Keep your hands, feet and objects to yourself.
• Use helpful and appropriate words, in a kind volume.
• Follow adult and safety patrol directions the first time asked.
• Report unsafe situations to adults.
• When moving to class, face forward and look where you are walking, keep the line moving, and go directly to class.
• In an emergency, follow the school safety procedures.

Bathroom

• Ask to go only when absolutely necessary.
• Only 2 people allowed in at a time.
• Wait your turn and wait on a line.
• Flush toilets, wash hands, and throw garbage away.
• Do your business and return to class immediately.
• Listen to the staff and safety patrols.
• Report any problems or damage to a staff member.

Classroom

• Enter the classroom quietly with all class materials needed.
• Raise your hand before talking or getting up.
• Ask for help when needed.
• Respect other class/group members.
• Be quiet on your teacher’s first signal.
• Report unsafe situations to adults.

Dismissal

• Listen to all adult directions.
• Make sure you have everything needed before leaving class.
• As you exit, leave the grounds immediately if you are not waiting to be picked up.
• Go to the office if you are not picked up or if you have any problems.

Hallways

• Stay to the right at all times.
• Walk slowly but steadily, going directly to your location.
• Remain quiet and be courteous of other classes working.

Indoor Recess

• Bring materials to work on or books to read.
• Sit down immediately with your class in the correct section.

Media Center

• Use helpful and appropriate words, in a kind, soft volume.
• Bring all materials necessary for class.
• Treat media center equipment with care.
• Return all books, in good condition and on time.
• Clean up after yourself.
• Before leaving make sure the room is left neat, orderly, and all chairs are pushed in.

Nurse

• Have a pass and sign in immediately.
• Wait your turn.

Office

• Wait your turn before speaking to the secretary.
• When you are finished return to class immediately

• Stand/stay in front of the counter/desk.
• Ask for what you need.

Outdoor Recess

• Follow adult and safety patrol directions the first time asked.
• Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
• Look before you throw or kick a ball.
• Invite and let other students play.
• Ask before leaving your section/area.

Stairwells

• Stay to the right going up and going down.
• Take one step at a time.
• Face forward at all times.
• When walking as a class, stay in a single file line.
• Go directly to your destination, using the quickest route.
