Pretty Lily

O lovely lily full of life

Colorful guests rest on your petals

After satiating themselves on you

O strange wonder you are

Providing food to your guests

Safeguards your continuity

In the middle of the warmness of spring

When the leaves were hanging proudly on the trees

And my arms were exposed from my shirt’s short sleeves

I made sure to take a picture

Put it in a frame

And save it for the inevitable cold, gray days.

Seasons

I enjoyed the snow, the glistening of flurries, and the cold air on the tip of my nose making my nose a slight red.

Winter was not only a season, it was a sequence of events, a place held special in my heart

My birthday fell in the winter, though I never cared much for it or noted any special importance on it,

You were the warmth that was brought within the below-freezing temperature and the ignition of the flame that did not withstand to be put out

Winter was my favorite season

But then, the snow melted, the flowers bloomed, and spring blossomed.

Spring was short and sweet but it didn't winter.

The summer brought endless opportunities, the ones that fill with nostalgia and promise, the light in the shining sun was not itself but you, us

I enjoyed the way that I could have easily been swayed by summer, but it could never winter

But before we knew it, the air began to shiver and I held on to the last of the summer light you gave me.

I guess when I was caught up in the joys, the leaves began to fall turning colors that I haven’t seen before

Soon, winter came around but it did not winter anymore. The feeling of the cold air on my nose and the warmth that was once there disappeared. Winter no longer was my favorite season.

Years upon years, winter was a constant.

This winter was different.

I let go of the fantasies and the broken promises and opened to Spring

Where spring was full of growth and life. Spring was a new constant, a new promise, a world where I’d catch glimpses of winter but never go back.

I began to enjoy spring and it became a new time for hope and laughter.

Spring is my favorite season.

“In Early December"

Town square, early December,

But the snow falls heavy, white as bone,

Scattered like ash and ember.

And she stands bare, sore hands against cold stone.

It drifts and lands upon her shoulders,

Warming her with the softest touch,

But the outside’s only getting colder.

How long she’s waited to feel loved this much.

Town square, early December,

She stands still, no longer bare or sore,

As the snow wraps its arms around her.

She stands still, longing for more

Gentle flakes, like fingers on her face.

It’s mother nature’s warm embrace.

It’s spring

laying on the grass

I don’t feel anything

Timeless thoughts in me

Bees pass with the small wind

Flower on my face while the birds sing

Chirp Chirp

I’m feeling kinda odd

The ocean is my drug

The sun is my god

The orchestra of nature is teaching me a song

It called me on the phone whilst I lay on a rug

How beautiful is the space I stare at up above

Rain

Rain clattering against the window

The smell is beautiful

I run outside

But there is a downside

It is dark and cold

The sun did not show

However, I was alone

In the unknown

Where no one could bother me

And I could be free

With the rain on my face

It feels like everything around me is erased

The summer season, so very strong,

It’s days are certainly long,

The wildlife continuously lighting the air with a rhythmic song,

The plants are growing, everything's a so perfect, what could possibly be wrong?

All of a sudden you must be careful, for a bee can sting you like a sharp prong,

The mosquitoes will bite you and make you itch,

Thy ivy will poison you, like a be ridden witch,

See the summer may not be like what it seems,

Don’t judge a book by its cover,

Take everything one step at a time,

And little by little, simply discover.

Rain Poem

I love the sound of rain.

So quiet and not in pain.

How do I ever complain?

I love the sight of rain.

Grass Poem

Nature is my best friend.

I love the way the birds sing,

And how the flowers flow in the wind.

I love the greenery from the grass, it never gives me sass.

I love nature.

The water is big

Like the green

Blue earth

Im going to live

Laugh love even

If i need medicine

I walk to the beach

Sunset is beautiful

Music playing in left ear

Have you ever seen

A green grass

Long green grass like St. Patrick
