Future

I Am Made Of Memories
The days of all my life have come and gone,
Each passing in fits of peace or crying;
To know this life well is to see its dawn,
Those who claim to know its end are lying.
In the pale fog of soft, gilded morning,
Or by the heat of the afternoon sun,
In the fine glisten of stars all scorning-
In these few moments, my life had begun.
But the end of it gathers up to weep,
Approaching swiftly, fast, hurriedly, now;
I can only lay my soul down to sleep,
The promise of sleep but a solemn vow.
I am made up of nothing but moments,
Held together now by their components.

Futuristic Beings,
Robbing our mind bank
A party of hate
Lessons from my mistakes
Paralyzed because I’m scared
I become a vegetable
I snap back to reality
And resume driving my car

Unstagnant Souls
Life is a tragedy
No matter how much I aid
I will always come too short
No matter how much I love, I will cease to exist
Life is not meant for stagnant souls.
Life is a tragedy
You and I will die
We will be six feet under
In a box, made for our slumber
In a yard that was nurtured for our end
Life is not meant for stagnant souls.
Life is a tragedy
I can never do all I desire
I have to focus on manifesting today
I must select one thing and toon out all else
Life is too brief for a heart somewhere else
Life is not meant for stagnant souls.
Life is a tragedy, but at least it’s not hell
No matter how much you mourn, you can propel change
No matter your circumstance, you can serve yourself well
No matter your failure, you can haul on
Life is not meant for stagnant souls.
Life is a beautiful tragedy,
Time and memories are enemies
We move onwards while our recollections embrace the past
We think to let our thoughts die and not us
We live so we can do and display our introspections
Life is not meant for stagnant souls.
Life is a beautiful tragedy,
If I toil harder
If I renounce what is required
I can become more
I can hold more
Life is not meant for stagnant souls.

444;19
Emerging from the dark tunnel, we begin to see light shine in.
With hopes in our hearts, we stumbled upon the horizon.
We held onto our faith so it never crumbled,
protecting what we had even as the darkness mumbled.
phrases that we would never make it.
To get rid of our light
yet somehow we saved it.
We took our situation n decided to change it.
Emerging from the tunnel we begin to be the light shinin’.
We been held under the moon but now the sun is risin’.
We sat as doves soared,
but now we flyin’
Surprised to see our capabilities because indeed we were held not helped
yet we succeed.
Through our troubles, trials, and trauma
yeah, we cryin’,
but through our struggles, spirals, and sagas,
still, we tryin’.
No matter how hard they try to sell it, we never buy in.
Because true wealth isn’t in currency
it’s in oneself.
So put the passion in our hearts n let it melt.
Fueling through our blood, our mud, our touches.
Unfazed by the purse an old lady crutches.
Because the power we hold is more than enough
it’s..beauty.
Because through it all I believe that we truly…
write the unwritten.
However, not all is forgiven
Because we still got invisible wounds that need recognition.
So from here on out we go against tradition.
WE break,
WE feel,
WE hate,
we HEAL..
n that’s the revolution I envision.

Class of 2022
Here comes around that time of year again,
Where kids are relieved and parents are proud.
All of the little boys will turn to men,
Walking down the aisle hearing the crowd.
Students start the next chapter of their lives,
New responsibilities are to come.
Moving on with their head held very high,
Realizing that they are no longer young.
Some are excited and some are nervous,
But one thing is they all have the same goal.
To have a great life with a great purpose,
To achieve things that can fill up their soul.
Graduation is a fun time of year,
Good vibes in the air that are filled with cheer.

Past
The future is now, and the past is the future.
Time warps and melts on the face of
A broken clock. It is right three times today.
It will chime the hour of four and then seven
And then nine. And then the ticking of the minute hand
Won’t line up with my heartbeat,
And then it will drive me mad.

Life can be yummy
Life can be confusing
The huge test of having fun or being scared
Its fast and you try your best to go far
Writing along the way
Matters of the heart, or something else
We’re all just here to have a good time

Life is like a sailing ship in grim wind…
Life is like a sailing ship in grim wind,
It can push you forward and all around.
Or flip you overboard and keep you pinned,
And force you all the way down to the ground.
Maybe you will find a bit of true luck,
Only to pray that it will be enough.
Then it all runs out and leaves you more stuck,
It forces you to ask why it’s so rough.
You can get lost in it’s beauty and light,
But then find yourself ensnared by it’s lies.
You’ll end up in a moment of real fright,
While it laughs and taunts your sudden surprise.
But then the storm will fade at some given time,
And leave a way for the sun’s rays to then chime.
