The class start their journey in Narrm (Melbourne) then go to the Flinders Ranges which is to the West of Adelaide. They then travel up to Broome which is in Western Australia as you can see up on the map. Once they leave Broome they head inland towards Tennant creek and reach a small Homeland community called Mungkarta. The bus breaks down so they hitch a ride with some kangaroos up to East Arnhem land where some crocodiles agree (not to eat them) and to swim with them all the way to Fraser Island / K'Gari. Finally, the class is flown back home to Narrm by a murder of crows (Waa).
This is Fraser Island where they drop off the jimbu (egg) and return the baby Milbi (turtle) and fly back to Narrm (Melbourne) on the crow's back (Waa).
