Frequency

This is the range of the Mendocino Fire.
Almost fully contained.
Percentage
90% of wildfires in the California are caused by humans.
Reasons
The rising temperature is not helping. Southern California is also in a drought at the moment; everything is dry and serves as fuel to the wildfires.
Another reason that is for fires in general, but still applies, is that cars can cause fires when they pull to side of the road. The undersides of cars get very hot and can burn anything that it touches pretty fast causing fires.
There are a lot of flammable things here in California. There are many dead trees and brush that are around.
