The Holy Fire was reported on the 6th of August, 2018. Its origin was in the Holy Jim Canyon, and that is where the fire got its name. As of August 9th, 9,614 acres have burned. On August 26th, the fire was thought to be 100% contained, but the next day, new flames erupted. These flames, though, were no threat to anyone and as of August 28th, is 94% contained.

51 year old, Forrest Gordon Clark, has been charged with the start of the fire. He was angry at his neighbor, so he lit his house on fire. But It got out of control. He is facing a lifetime in prison with a bail of 1 million dollars.
