Welcome to Tara S.T.E.M. Academy for 2025-2026! I hope that this year is a fun yet successful one. My name is Mrs. Barnett, and I am the school counselor at Tara S.T.E.M. Academy. With a commitment to fostering both personal and academic growth, I am thrilled to introduce myself and outline the range of services and support I provide to our school community.
This marks my second year as a school counselor at Tara S.T.E.M. Academy, and I am incredibly passionate about empowering young minds to navigate the unique challenges of adolescence as an educator for nearly 10 years. Prior to my career in school counseling, I served as a victim advocate and the United States Air Force for 9.5 years.
