We need you...
Bus drivers, race car drivers, truck drivers, delivery drivers, postman, veterinarian, dog walker, farm animal caretaker, pet store employee, botanist, landscaper, park ranger, green house worker, florist, botanist, police officer, air pilot, farmer, or dog walker.Â
To ensure that our students are ready to perform at their best on this task, we offer a few testing reminders for 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Students:
Get a good night’s sleep before each testing day.
Eat a light, nutritious breakfast each morning before testing. Food is the fuel that powers the body and the brain. Fruits, carbohydrates (such as breads) and proteins (such as eggs) work best to give students testing energy.
Be in school each day and on time.
We're accepting gently used or new uniform clothing for those in need for our CHILDREN'S CLOSET.
We will include hygiene bags and snacks for those in need at Tara Elementary.
Donations accepted from 08:00-2:00
Items must be clean and gently used (uniform items).Â
No shoes will be collected at this time.Â
SPOTLIGHT: Type 1 diabetes is a chronic condition in which the pancreas produces little or no insulin, a hormone that helps sugar (glucose) enter the body’s cells for energy. Unlike Type 2 diabetes, Type 1 is typically diagnosed in children and young adults and isn’t linked to lifestyle or diet—it’s an autoimmune condition that can affect anyone. Â
