You may say, "why is being a safety so good?" Well there are three really good reasons. One you can be a safety with friends in other classes. Two you get to come to school early and if you chose to you can go to your class early. And third I will be talking about the ways the school appreciates safeties . Down below will be all the safety jobs. Now it seems pretty fun to me but maybe not to you.
Well as a safety you might be in the morning you will think aww I have to wait to see my best friend until recess. If they are in a different class and there a safety you can chose a post with your friends and you can talk while you work. You might not know the person and then might become good friends, it happened to me.
Coming to school early is different. The hallways and classrooms are silent. And you get to see your teacher before class. You also can get to your post early so if there is an issue you can fix it. It really helps the school when there are safeties around.
The things the school loves about safeties would take to long for me to write so ill talk about a few. One thing the school likes is safety keeping the kids safe by telling them to not do something. Two they appreciate if you can stop something like a fight or just doing something they shouldn't be doing. And something they like is when you help them at a post like kindergarten classroom clean up you help the teachers and they like that. So they like when we help them the school and the kids.
So I hope you learned what you can do at safety posts. After this you can read all the safety jobs listed down below. I hope you want to become a safety and join the safety team. Those are just some of things about safeties that the school likes.
Morning posts
Kindergarten chaperone
- take kindergarteners from the bus and bring them through the doors by the dumpster-
Kindergarten rooms
- Take down all the chairs in the kindergarten rooms. Then wipe all the tables down.(Some teachers might want you to Sometimes put things on the tables for the teachers.
Bus entry doors
- When the kindergarteners get out of the bus they come threw the doors by the dumpster and you hold the doors open for them-
Bus monitor (only for bussers)
- When you are on the bus and someone is doing something they're not supposed to you tell them not to-
Cafeteria outside doors
- Open the doors for walker drop off and riding kids-
Drop off line
- Well it's not it's just telling kids don't run get off the grass
Art Room
- In the art room post all you do is help the art teacher clean art room-

Little people/ Planet kids
Kindergartens
- I drop off the kids at the bus, and then I go to my other job. Basically that is it. I do have to hold some hands most days. But you don’t have to unless they were being bad-
Gym monitor
- I tell kids to stay in the purple and to stop running and if they don't listen I have to tell the to stop right next to them.
