Bee-Bot is a colorful, programmable floor robot designed to introduce young learners (PreK–1) to foundational programming concepts through engaging, hands-on activities. Using simple directional commands—forward, backward, left, and right—students create step-by-step sequences to solve challenges and complete missions like herding sheep or navigating through a flower garden.
Students build skills in directional language, spatial awareness, measurement, problem-solving, and collaboration, all while having fun. Bee-Bot activities are highly adaptable, with cross-curricular mats and a variety of accessories that make learning playful and personalized.
Bee-Bot is also equipped with interactive features:
Detects and greets nearby Bee-Bots or Blue-Bots® with a sound or a custom-recorded message
Allows students to record audio for each button, enhancing accessibility for learners with auditory or visual processing needs
Whether students are simulating real-world scenarios or progressing through increasingly complex coding games, Bee-Bot provides a developmentally appropriate introduction to computational thinking in the classroom.
