About the conference
When and where is the conference?
Rewilding Futures takes place on Thursday 29 and Friday 30 April 2027 at the CPH Conference Center, DGI Byen, Tietgensgade 65, 1704 København V, Denmark. The venue is a short walk from Copenhagen Central Station. An optional field trip runs on Saturday 1 May.
Can I attend online?
No. Rewilding Futures is an in-person event only, and there is no online version.
Will sessions be recorded?
Yes. We plan to record sessions and share them after the conference, where speakers have given their permission.
What language is the conference in?
All sessions will be in English.
Will there be time for networking?
Yes, plenty. Breaks and lunch are built into both days. All ticket holders are also invited to our evening wine reception on Thursday 29 April, at a venue in central Copenhagen to be announced.
How can I stay up to date?
Ticket holders will receive all updates by email. If you haven’t booked yet, [sign up here] to hear about speakers, the programme and other news.
Tickets and payment
What’s the difference between the ticket types?
Every ticket gives you the full conference. The only difference is where you watch the plenary sessions: in the main hall, or in one of our Screening Rooms next door, where the sessions are shown as they happen and you can still put questions to the speakers. See the [Buy Tickets page] for full details.
Can I buy a ticket for one day only?
No. All tickets cover both days.
Do you offer reduced-price tickets?
Yes. Concession tickets are available for students, people on a low income, unemployed people and disabled people. They run on an honour system. Individuals can also apply for a bursary. See the [Buy Tickets page] for details.
Do you offer group discounts?
No, there are no group rates.
How do I pay?
All tickets are paid for online by card. Prices include VAT and booking fees.
Can my organisation have a VAT invoice?
Yes. Please pay online, then email constance@citizenzoo.org with your organisation’s details and we’ll send you a VAT invoice.
Can I get a refund?
We’re unable to offer refunds once a ticket has been bought. However, you can transfer your ticket to someone else (see below).
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
Yes. Email constance@citizenzoo.org with your booking details and the new attendee’s name and email address.
What happens if the conference is cancelled?
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or postpone the conference, we’ll contact all ticket holders as soon as possible to explain the options. We’re unable to cover other costs, such as travel or accommodation, so we recommend booking flexible travel where possible and taking out travel insurance.
I haven’t received my confirmation email. What should I do?
Please check your spam or junk folder first. If it’s not there, email constance@citizenzoo.org.
Before you arrive
Do I need to book sessions now?
No. Booking for parallel sessions opens around two weeks before the conference, at the same time for everyone. We’ll email all ticket holders when it does, so there’s nothing you need to do until then.
Where should I stay?
We’ve secured a discounted rate at CPH Hotel, right next to the venue. Rooms are limited, so we recommend booking early. See the [Info page] for details and other options.
When should I arrive?
Registration opens at 08:00 on Thursday 29 April. We recommend arriving in Copenhagen on Wednesday 28 April.
How do I get to the venue?
The venue is a short walk from Copenhagen Central Station (København H), and about 15–20 minutes by train from Copenhagen Airport. See the [Info page] for full directions.
Is there parking?
No, there is no parking on site, so we encourage everyone to use public transport, as the venue is so close to the central station and great metro links.
Is there an optional field trip?
Yes. On Saturday 1 May, we’re running a guided field trip to Saksfjed Wilderness. Tickets are available separately on the [Field Trip page here].
At the conference
What do I need to bring on the day?
Your e-ticket on your phone; there’s no need to print it. You’ll collect your badge when you arrive. We also recommend bringing a reusable water bottle and layers, as Copenhagen in late April can be cool.

Is food included?
Yes. Lunch, tea, coffee and refreshments are included on both days. All food is vegetarian and prepared in-house by the venue.
Can you cater for allergies and other dietary needs?
Yes. All food is vegetarian, so if you have any allergies or other dietary requirements, please email Connie at constance@citizenzoo.org before the event, and let a member of catering staff know at meal times.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes. The CPH Conference Center has step-free access, lifts and accessible toilets throughout. If you need hearing assistance or any other support, please email constance@citizenzoo.org before the event and we’ll do our best to help.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, free Wi-Fi is available throughout the venue. We’ll share the details on the day.

Can I take photos?
Yes, you’re welcome to take photos. Please don’t record full sessions, as we’ll be sharing recordings ourselves where speakers have agreed.
