A conference for everyone
We believe the rewilding movement should be open to everyone, not just those with big travel budgets. Copenhagen can be an expensive city, so we’ve worked closely with our venue to negotiate genuinely affordable rooms, right next door to the conference. Our rate is [X% less] than the hotel’s usual price for these dates.
Why we recommend CPH Hotel
CPH Hotel is part of the DGI Byen complex, right next to the conference venue and just 150 metres from Copenhagen Central Station. It’s a friendly, relaxed three-star hotel, so it’s not fancy, but it’s comfortable, well located and great value, and we can personally vouch for the breakfast!
With many delegates, speakers and our own team staying there, it’s also the best place to be for networking. Expect conversations over breakfast and a drink in the hotel bar after the day’s sessions.
Room prices
We’ve secured 50 rooms at CPH Hotel for the nights of Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 April 2027, at £340 per room for both nights. Each room sleeps one or two people at the same price, so if you share with a colleague or friend, it works out at just £85 per person per night, including breakfast.

Good to know
Each room can be booked for one person or for two people travelling together, and if you’re sharing, we’ll ask for both names when you book. Rooms have either a double bed or two single beds, and as we can’t guarantee which, please make sure you’re comfortable sharing a double bed if you’re booking for two.
We only have 50 rooms, so they’re likely to go quickly and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you’d like to stay longer, for example on Friday night for the Saturday field trip, please book any extra nights directly with the hotel. We’ll send you check-in and check-out details closer to the conference.
Hotel perks
As a hotel guest, you can also enjoy DGI Byen’s other facilities:
Swimming pools, sauna and hot tub at DGI Byen’s swimming centre, at a special guest rate of around 25 DKK
Free bowling when booked on the day (shoe hire 15 DKK)
Discounted padel on outdoor courts with views over Copenhagen
Bike hire, to explore the city the Copenhagen way
A lobby bar and lounge with board games, table tennis and a sunny outdoor terrace
How to book
You can book your room at the same time as your conference ticket. Just add a hotel room to your basket on our booking page when you buy your ticket. Once you’ve booked, we’ll send you a short registration form to fill in with the name of each guest staying in the room. We’ll then pass your details to the hotel and confirm your booking by email.
Cancellations
You can cancel your room up to Monday 15 March 2027 for a refund of the room price, minus a £15 admin fee. After that, bookings are non-refundable, but you’re welcome to transfer your room to someone else. Just email constance@citizenzoo.org with their name.
Other places to stay
If our rooms have sold out, or you’d like to stay longer, there are plenty of options nearby. Hotels close to the venue include:
Zleep and Cabinn are both budget hotels just around the corner.
[Add Freya’s list of nearby hotels.]
Neighbourhoods to look at

Frederiksberg: quieter and leafy, a short metro or bus ride away
Nørrebro: creative and good value, a short bike or bus ride away
On a budget? Copenhagen has several well-rated hostels near the centre with private rooms as well as dorms.
Late April is a busy time in Copenhagen, so we recommend booking early. Questions? Email Connie at constance@citizenzoo.org.
