The painting takes place in an area in my childhood and was meant to convey a moment in the past when you felt happy and in a calm state of mind. That when you look at the painting it would remind you of that moment and bring back the things you felt when you first saw the scenery. For this artwork I used the impasto technique to make the colors pop.
