This painting is based on the song ‘Left Brain, Right Brain’ by Bo Burnham. This song is about how the left and right brain conflict with everything that a person has to do. This is shown by the difference between the way they work and the solution they come up with it. That is rendered by them pointing knives at each other despite shaking hands. They work together but yet work against each other.
