You will receive up to 5 hours of support from your supervisor during this process.
This will be during:
Informal Meetings:
These allow supervisors to check you're on track, that you're maintaining integrity, your outline is good and that you're progressing as you should be. They also allow you to ask questions and get assistance with anything.
Formal Meetings: initial, interim and final reflection meetings.
Initial Reflection: Helps you establish a relationship and allows the supervisors to take a deeper look at your RQ and readiness to begin the process.
Interim Reflection: This occurs when most of your essay is complete and allows your supervisor to ensure your essay has what it needs to develop into a great draft.
FinalReflection/Viva Voce: This is about reflecting on the process of completing an Extended Essay.
It is after each of these meetings that you will write your RPPF's.
Draft Feedback
Your supervisor will meet with you to discuss the draft and feedback on this.
You must make the most of any meetings that you have, and always try to arrive prepared.
Supplemental support: You will have one mandatory meeting with a Secondary Librarian. You will meet with Ms. Smith if you are writing an EE in English language or Ms. Wong for all Chinese language EEs. You may schedule further meetings with a Secondary Librarian to address questions that arise during the process.
