School Uniforms 2.0 is an initiative by the The Circular Classroom
that facilitates collaborations within and between schools as well as the wider community.
In partnership with schools, students and parents, we are currently organising Uniform Donation Drives to promote a culture of mindful consumption and sustainability and to reduce waste.
Everyone plays a role! This year, Singapore celebrates 60th Anniversary. We aim to collect 60,000 uniform pieces and by repurposing them, reduce unnecessary textile waste in Singapore.
By involving students, parents and members of the community in the process, we demonstrate our collective environmental responsibility and joint contribution to becoming a zero-waste nation. We don't waste resources. All parts of the uniforms will be reused or repurposed for a good cause.
How can you support?
... if your school collaborates with us and participates in a uniform donation drive, bring the old uniforms to the designated place on the school compound. We are closely working with a few schools on the collection of pre-loved uniforms.
... interested in donating but your school is not yet running a donation drive and you are not able to visit us within our office hours? Drop us an email and we will find a way to avoid textile waste and repurpose your uniforms.
