When you are in the pits this should be the task list you should follow. (please keep in mind this is for the 2026 season)
1) Take the battery out of the robot and place in last pick
2) Put a practice battery in the robot if running an OPs (operations) check which includes running every mechanism
3) Find the next best battery; check for charge percentage and rint for this. If you know several are chaged just look at sticker in the corner of the battery. Once found, place in first pick but don't take off of charger
4) Check that all light codes on Spark MAXs, radio, RoboRIO, Orange Pi, motors, ect. are correct (best to see if doing an OPs check)
5) Check swerve modules by turning wheeles while robot is off and making sure you don't here any rattling that could be a loose bolt and it doesn't feel harder or easier to turn another one of the wheeles. (If it is, this could mean there is a belt issues you need to watch out for)
6) Check motors on the swerve modules. Make sure they don't move in their connection to the robot and that all covers are on correctly
7) Look and fix exposed wire (if a quick turn around and there will be no issue with a short put electrical tape and a green flag so that we fix it)
8) Every few matches make sure wires are not coming out of PDP
9) Help add bumper covers if we need it
10) If there is a lot of silicone dust from rollers or ball foam in the robot clean with a vaccume and if needed a compressor and/or alchol wipes (just be careful with the last one as it will slowly destroy the compliant wheels)
11) Place new battery in robot right before it leaves for a match. Make sure that the securing strap is tightened, connector secured completely, and a ziptie put around connectors to make sure they do not come apart during a match
