Ruta Eclipse is a cluster of science communicators of different backgrounds (tens of outreach projects and associations), committed to cover the two solar eclipses in Mexico during October 14th and April 8th with activities, talks, resources, astrophotography contests, observation with hundreds of telescopes in different sites, and live transmission from different parts of the country.
Ruta Eclipse has found support from some of the main media (TV, radio, etc.) in Mexico and Latin America, as well as National Geographic, sharing our live-stream and interviewing members of the staff in October.
The activities of Ruta Eclipse are constantly updated in the Facebook and Instagram pages.
Delegated by Astrofísicos en Acción I participated as one of the astrophysicists in charge of the narration of the annular eclipse in the archeological site of Chen Ho, Mérida. I was able to do some astrophotography, support with the telescopes, and helped with the organization of the activities in Mérida. I was the coordinator of "Team Mérida" for Astrofísicos en Acción.
Currently part of the organization of the site in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, México.
