Astrofísicos en Acción

Astrofísicos en Acción is a Mexican project dedicated to education and public outreach  in Spanish, where professional astrophysicists are constantly developing contents about astronomy in social media, in a humorous way that makes them close to their audience. The contents created are shared in different platforms, such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, etc. - All of our contents are listed in the following links.

My contribution to this project is in the Social Media team, posting mainly about Cosmology and Archaeoastronomy. Together with the founders of AA, we prepared the presentation of the project in Communicating Astronomy with the Public 2022 (CAP2022) with the talk: "Astrofísicos en Acción: astronomy outreach for “Hispanos” in the digital era". I was part of the team who went to the event Talent Land in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico in April 2023, and Talent Kids in winter 2022-2023 in Mexico City, where I gave two talks named "The Dark Side of the Universe".

I have also been a part of the team that has participated in the AA  tent in five Noche de las Estrellas with talks, activities, contests, part of the organization, and much more.

Astrofísicos en Acción is one of the many associations who make Ruta Eclipse. I was one of the astrophysicists in charge of the narration of the annular eclipse in October 2023 in the archeological site of Chen Ho, Mérida.
