High performance computing at NERSC - National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center.
For the development of my research, I work with the following codes written in python:
Codes for generation of synthetic datasets:
LyaCoLoRe - I have contributed in this code adding and tuning the absorption due to the presence of Ly-β, SiIII(1207), SiII(1190), SiII(1193), and SiII(1260).
Desisim/QuickQuasars - I have contributed in this code tuning the absorption due to the presence of Ly-β, SiIII(1207)*, SiII(1190)*, SiII(1193)*, and SiII(1260)*, as well as a first approach of CIV and OVI absorption values for LyaCoLoRe mocks. I am contributing with the analysis and discussions of the strategy to retune the values of the mentioned Si lines for DESI Y1 analysis.
These codes were used to created the synthetic dataset for the analysis of eBOSS DR16 and DESI EDR, and currently are being used for DESI Y1
*I also tuned the absorption of these metals for Saclay Mocks
Codes for cosmological analysis from quasar spectra:
PICCA - I have run this code several times for Ly-α standard BAO analysis for the study of metal transitions. I also run it to analyze forests generated by transitions that are not Ly-α. I have been part of the PICCA Task Force that improves and manitains the code. My contributions have been as tester (especially with alternative forests) and reporting bugs to implement new features that will allow this analysis.
Vega - I run this code to do the analysis of cosmological parameters. I adapted it to run in the different metal forests that I work with.
