Noting with regret that often hate speeches don’t reach the threshold of incitement of discrimination and so are not prohibited by states under international law;
Expresses its dissatisfaction with the fake or distorted information about refugees and migrants which regularly surfaces online;
Approving the efforts of the UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) to run campaigns that aim to put ordinary citizens at the forefront of positive messaging about refugees:
1. Authorizes the formation of a UN body SHAND (Scrapping hazardous attritioned nuisance depictions (of refugees) which will carry out the following with the support of UN funding:
a) Build upon the coalition the UNHCR has built up with influential political leaders encouraging campaigning to gain the support of more leaders and encouraging their citizens to be supportive of refugees and to embrace diversity;
b) Put the public at the forefront of campaigning in different countries so that xenophobia is decreased with similar campaigns to Somos Panas (We are friends), a campaign in Colombia aimed to reduce manifestations of xenophobia which has been particularly effective;
c) Emphasize the communication between refugees and host communities not only by encouraging the presence of refugee voices in public debates but by organizing events at which refugees and host communities can meet and interact, such as barbecues and dinner party-like gatherings.
2. Encourages the ratification of the following international law: that legislation against hate speech is significantly tightened so that it is considered an unlawful act without incitation with appropriate sentencing carried out by a jury approved by the government of a country.

Suggests that further resources are put into designing spacecraft that could transport human beings to Mars.
Concerned that some farmers are pouring away unwanted milk,
Pleased that the U.K. is on course to produce a bumper fruit and vegetable crop this year,
Worried about the effect on the environment of transporting food over long distances,
1. Urges that a survey is undertaken so that spare milk can be diverted to suitable places;
2. Suggests that ways are found so that more unemployed workers can help with the harvest;
3. Recommends that a central body be set up, [ Keep Food Fresh And Local ] KFFAL, to reduce food miles.
Noting with dismay the amount of airlines that are struggling to stay in business as a result of COVID 19:
Concerned by the large number of people that will lose their jobs and income if the airlines close:
Worried that travel by air will be much more difficult if many airlines go out of business, creating a serious impact on trade and tourism;
Demands that all countries open up their borders with immediate effect:
Recommends that a UN body is set up to advise on a rescue package for the struggling companies:
Proposes that financial help is provided over the next twelve months until airline companies are in a more secure position.
Noting with dismay the advice given by the government to avoid the use of public transport during the COVID 19 pandemic:
Concerned that the level of air pollution will rise again in our cities if citizens return to travelling mainly by private car;
Demands that the government retracts the current advice not to travel on buses and trains:
Requests that a body is set up to consider the best way to maintain our current low levels of air pollution:
Proposes that money is taken from furlough payments and put into running more buses and trains in order to allow correct and safe social distancing measures.
Acknowledges that due to lockdown, PPE has become high demand:
Understands that PPE has been all been bought by the general population, leaving little for hospitals:
Aware that hospitals need PPE more than the general public;
Notes with dismay the current lack of adult tuition in many University subjects, particularly in the Arts due to the pandemic;
Concerned that students are not getting value for money which urgently needs to be addressed;
Worried that poorer demographics will choose not to enter Higher Education under the new reduced provision with high fees:
1. Recommends that the students to return to University as soon as possible;
2. Urges that tuition fees and the interest on them should be reduced to reflect new provision;
3. Calls for all landlords (private and university) to be mandated to reduce rents by at least 50% during the COVID-19 period. This is because students are unable to use University accommodation at present.
Acknowledges that schools need funding;
Understands that students are being temporarily schooled online;
However, aware that teachers’ wages still need to be paid:
Calls for parents to get a small refund on private school fees as students are currently not in school;
Asks that non-government funded schools discount fees for next year by 5 - 10% to help families that will be struggling to pay;
Demands that the government consider its obligation to fund state schools before looking to support private schools which give a clear advantage to their pupils.
Believing that nuclear weapons programs pose a threat to our safety, despite the claim that they increase national security and prevent war from breaking out between major powers;
Noting with approval the actions of anti-nuclear groups who campaign to end such programs for the safety of humanity;
Believing that ending all nuclear production will bring more peace to humanity and create less tension over power and the threat of war;
1. Encourages all nations to end nuclear weapons programs;
2. Calls for all existing nuclear weapons to be destroyed in a safe and contained environment to prevent nuclear radiation pollution;
3. Suggests that all UN member states impose economic sanctions on nations that refuse to end nuclear programs and continue to manufacture nuclear weapons.
