President

Rita Burkley began her term August of 2017. She has been a member of the Christ Child Society for 26 years. She has served as buyer for the Clothing Center and Co-chaired our first Night at the Races. Rita is a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish.

Anne Santin has been a member of Christ Child Society of Akron since 2012. She has been a co-chair on the Hospitality Committee, Membership Committee and the National Day of Service. She served as Recording Secretary from 2016-2018.

Treasurer

Nancy Parks began her term May 2016. Nancy has been member a of the Christ Child Society for 17 years. This is an appointed position, with responsible for helping the Treasure with her responsibilities, and shall pay all bills as designated by the President or Treasurer. This is an appointed position and does not have term limits. Nancy is a member of Holy Family Parish in Stow.

Assistant Treasurer

Kaye Rowe has served as President from 2017-2019. She has been a member of Christ Child for 18 years, serving as Treasurer on both local and National Boards, Assistant Treasurer and on the Finance committee. Kaye co-chaired the 2016 Boutique, Fashion Show and Luncheon. Kaye is member of St. Sebastian Parish.

Communications Chair

Terry Tolson began her term May of 2019. This is an appointed position. She has been a member of the Christ Child Society for 9 years. She has served as Clothing Center Buyer, and has co-chaired and served on various committees including Membership, Strategic Planning, Evening of Reflection and Red Wagon. She is a member of St. Sebastian Parish.

Service Projects Chair

Meg Lee began her term May of 2011. This position is responsible for coordinating the numerous Service Projects of the chapter. This is an appointed position. Meg has been a member of the Christ Child Society for 27 years. She has served as 2nd Vice President, Clothing Center chair, co-chair of Breakfast with Santa, and past chair of Hospitality. Meg is a member of St. Sebastian Parish.

Ways and Means Chair (s)

This position is responsible for coordinating the numerous fundraising activities of the chapter. This is an appointed position and is being shared between Patty McCluskey, Chris Thomas and Barb Wulff

Chris Thomas most recently served from 2019-20 as an advisor to our president. She has been a member of the Christ Child Society for 25 years and have served as Vice President, Treasurer, Chairman of Ways and Means, Future Planning, Red Wagon Boutique as well as a committee member for several other service projects and standing committees. She is a member of St. Sebastian Church.

IMM Past President

Sally Olszewski began her term May 2017. The first vice president/president elect serves as an aid to the president and assumes her duties in her absence. This elected position is for a two-year term. Sally has been member of the a Christ Child Society for 17 years. She co-chaired the 2016 Boutique, Fashion Show and Luncheon. Sally is a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Akron.

Spiritual Advisor

Rev. Paul J Rosing appointed by the Bishop, has served as our spiritual advisor for 31 years. In honor of this milestone he was installed as an official/full member of the Christ Child Society of Akron at Corporate Communion March 25, 2017.

Advisors

Linda Skeen has been a member of Christ Child since 1995. She is a member of St. Hilary Parish in Akron.

Micki Trenta: has been a member of Christ Child since 1992. She is a member of St. Sebastian Parish in Akron.
