Gail joined CCSA in 2016 after retiring from Cleveland Clinic as a Director in Corporate Compliance and a 40 year career in Health Information Management. She has served as Corresponding Secretary and 1st Vice President and Set-up Chair for Red Wagon. As a member of St. Sebastian Parish she is involved in various ministries including the Parish Choir, West Side Catholic Couples, Our Mother’s Hands and St. Sebastian Prayer Warriors. In addition to Christ Child activities, she enjoys music, crocheting, volunteering at Embrace Clinic and especially spending time with husband Ed, her four children and nine grandchildren, most of whom live in the Akron or surrounding area.
Denise Fresh has been a member of the Christ Child Society since 2019. She currently serves as 1st Vice President/President Elect and has previously served as Recording Secretary and 2nd Vice President. Denise coordinates the Teacher Appreciation Luncheons at St. Augustine School in Barberton and has volunteered at many Christ Child events, including Red Wagon.In addition to her work with Christ Child, Denise is an active member of St. Hilary Parish in Fairlawn, where she serves as a Lector, Eucharistic Minister, OCIA team member, Stewardship Committee member, Wedding Coordinator, and also participates in Bible Study and Marriage Encounter. She also enjoys crocheting, rosary making, and cooking. Denise works part‑time at the Embrace Clinic and Care Center as the Director of Client Services. She lives in Copley, Ohio, with her husband of 40 years, Matthew. They enjoy spending time with their son, David, his wife, Stephanie, and their beloved grand‑dog, Dewey.

Terry Tolson began her term May of 2019. This is an appointed position. She has been a member of the Christ Child Society for 9 years. She has served as Clothing Center Buyer, and has co-chaired and served on various committees including Membership, Strategic Planning, Evening of Reflection and Red Wagon. She is a member of St. Sebastian Parish.
Meg Lee began her term May of 2011. This position is responsible for coordinating the numerous Service Projects of the chapter. This is an appointed position. Meg has been a member of the Christ Child Society for 27 years. She has served as 2nd Vice President, Clothing Center chair, co-chair of Breakfast with Santa, and past chair of Hospitality. Meg is a member of St. Sebastian Parish.
Erin Karolewski has been a member of Christ Child since 2018 and is a third generation member of the Akron Chapter. This is her first time serving on the Board and is thrilled to fulfill the role of Ways and Means Chair. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, Erin was a Intervention Specialist at Tusky Valley Local Schools for 13 years. And even though she is not in the classroom, she still serves the Tusky Valley Community by chairing a non-profit through the school called Affordable Christmas and is the director of a local STEM camp, Camp Invention. Erin is married to Matthias, for 15 years and together have two children, Georgia and Samuel. They reside in Canton and belong to St. Paul's Parish.
Patty has been a member of Christ Child for 34 years and just completed serving as President for two years. Now, as Past President she serves as an advisor to the President. She is also in charge of Nominations for Officers.
In her time with CCSA, she has served in various projects as a Chair. She has Chaired the Red Wagon (several times), May Salad Supper, Provisionals, and Corporate Communion. Patty especially loves volunteering at the Clothing Center, packing Layettes, and helping at the Library. If there is an activity going on, Patty will try to be there to lend a hand of support. Patty's children have grown up in the warm embrace of Christ Child. Now, even her grandkids lend a hand. Being with her family and grandkids continues to be a special time for her.
As a former teacher and Principal, Patty stays connected to many of her teacher friends and students. She loves to volunteer at her Church and with her various groups. When Patty isn't at Christ Child events, she enjoys scrapbooking, gardening and bowling. Patty says, "Being a member of the Christ Child has blessed me in so many ways!!"
Appointed by the Bishop, Rev. Rosing has served as our spiritual advisor for 31 years. In honor of this milestone he was installed as an official/full member of the Christ Child Society of Akron at Corporate Communion March 25, 2017.
