STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.

STEM education includes specific knowledge across four learning areas plus the inter-relationship between them. There are opportunities for STEM learning to be delivered in an integrated way, supporting deeper engagement in these four learning areas. STEM is integral to the following learning areas:

This catapult made by Marta and Claire threw half a pistacio shell 6.4 metres using only the energy stored in the wooden popsical sticks, wooden spoon and rubber bands!
