A good digital citizen uses digital tools effectively, thoughtfully, and ethically as digital creators. Always follow the expectations and guidelines set by your teachers as you blog, create a video, develop an online portfolio, complete research for a class assignment, and anything you create and share online.

Students use the same skills in digital creation as they do with manual creation. How they create has changed because of technology.
The audience is much larger because of technology.
There are new responsibilities with digital creation. Students should understand about digital citizenship.
Students must be prepared to live and work in a digital world - the 21st century.

If your teacher asks you to research a topic of study, what important detail should NEVER be forgotten?
What can a student do to protect their created work online? Who owns it if it is published online?
