The W. F. West Counseling Center offers programs and services to support students throughout their high school experience. Our focus is to help students with academic planning and to foster personal exploration, self-awareness, and social growth. Students will be encouraged to set realistic yet challenging goals for college and career readiness. Students will learn to be self-advocates in their interaction with teachers, peers, school staff and the community.
Our counselors and counseling center can assist students with academic, career, college and personal questions. We assist with transitions between schools, registration, course selection, interpretation and use of test results, and graduation requirements. Our doors are always open. We can respond to emergencies at any time. We do appreciate pre-arranged appointments. You may contact the counseling center to arrange an appointment at 807-7235, ext. 5514. Counselors may also be contacted by email.
