The Dashboard/home screen is where you will find access to several key features:
Create: The green arrow in the photo shows where you want to click to create a new study set.
Sets: these are Quizlets that you have made or favorited.
Folders: Create folders to help you organize and keep track of study sets.
Classes: Create a class where and share it for students to have access to a set of Quizlets.
Settings: The "Gear" icon gives you access to settings including user name and other sharing options.
You can either create your own Quizlets for students or search through others that users have made and add them to your sets.
The Create option will give you the ability to create your own Quizlet for users. There are many options and settings here. Be sure to label your Quizlet uniquely.
You can easily search and find study sets made by other users and copy them into your account by finding the appropriate icons.
Copying a set adds it to your collection.
Add Set allows you to favorite it and easily return to that original.
Look for the icon above to "share" your study set with users. This will allow you to share it several ways:
The easiest way to share will be to copy the link into a Google Classrooms assignment for your students to access.
After sharing a completed study set users will have access to several different modes of learning.
Study modes
Flashcards mode: Review terms and definitions or questions and answers the way you would with traditional flashcards.
Learn mode: Answer questions that get progressively harder. This study mode creates a personalized study plan based on your familiarity with the content and helps you master everything you need to know.
Write mode: Answer questions by writing out your response. If you miss a question, you can focus on it later.
Spell mode: Listen to terms and definitions and then type what you hear. This mode works well for studying a new language or practicing spelling in your own language.
Test mode: See how you might perform on a test by quizzing yourself with different question types.
Games
Match: Race against the clock to match terms and definitions as quickly as you can.
Gravity: Type answers quickly to stop asteroids from hitting your planet. As you progress through the levels, asteroids start falling faster.
Quizlet Live: Challenge others to a game of Quizlet Live! Players work in teams to correctly match terms and definitions. You can play Quizlet Live in teams mode or individuals mode.
