Students DO NOT need an account to use Padlet.
Teachers will need to create a free account to use basic features. There is a paid version that unlocks more features but the free version allows for creative uses enhancing lessons.

Click "Log in with Google"
Use your @cheektowagasloan.org email to create a free account and sign in.
On the dashboard you will find Padlet you created and access to several other features:
Join a Padlet and work on it with another teacher.
Share Padlets with others.
Browser example Padlets.
Create a new Padlet.
Click on "Make a Padlet"
Select a style of Padlet to work with. Eache
Padlets allow you to use many file formats from Youtube to Google Drive.

These setting are important and will effect how your Padlet looks and how students interact with it.
These settings can be changed later from the gear icon.
Here you will also find the link to share the Padlet with others.
Wallpaper can be selected from many sources. You can pick from pre-loaded "Pictures" or "Add your own" from a Google search or Upload a file.
Posting settings allow you to change features on how others will see individual posts and make comments or reactions.
Reactions are a fun way to get students involved in content.
Content Filtering allows you to change settings for interactive communication with others.
Double Click anywhere on the Padlet to create a post. From here you are able to Create a Title and write a description. You are able to share many file types from here. Clicking on the 3 horizontal dots will bring up even more options.
