The New Jersey Speech and Debate League (NJSDL) is a volunteer-led organization that is affiliated with the NSDA. All states that are part of the NSDA have their own state-specific league. The NJSDL is in charge of most competitions in the state and offers many state-specific events. The NJSDL is responsible for holding the state tournament towards the end of the season, and any competition done under the NJSDL still brings in points under the NSDA.
