VOLUNTEERING AT SCHOOL
Parents are very important to the success of McDougle. The Volunteers and Partners Office at Lincoln Center provides a range of opportunities to assist students and teachers. Some of these roles require training. If you would like to learn more about volunteering opportunities, please call 967-8211, ext. 28281.
When volunteering, the following guidelines must be followed:
- No conferences will be granted during the time you are volunteering.
- Please do not bring children with you when you are volunteering.
- If you are volunteering to chaperone a field trip, siblings or small children are not allowed to accompany you. Field trips are limited to members of the class and volunteers.
- If you choose to serve as a proctor for the state test, you will not be allowed to proctor in the same classroom or grade level where you have children enrolled.
- One great way to help out at school would be to help shelve books in the Media Center due to there not being a permanent Media Assistant this year. Our Volunteer Office will be helping us with this need.
- We are in need of Cafeteria Monitors during our lunch times. Please let Ms. Lin know at the front desk.
