Visitors

Providing a safe environment at McDougle is of utmost importance, which is why we expect every person who walks through the doors to sign in at the front office before walking into the main part of the building. After signing in, you will receive a visitors badge or sticker before entering the main part of the building. We will try and make this process as quick and convenient as possible.

Parents and visitors should enter the school through the designated front or back doors. Visitors should not knock on classroom doors or other doors in order to gain access to the building. Once the instructional day has started, parents and visitors should not congregate in the halls, classrooms or walk through the campus. This is to maintain a focus on instructional integrity. The front office doors will remain locked all day, with the exception of 7:30-7:50 and 2:20-2:50. If you arrive at the school beyond this time, you will be expected to buzz the front office using the camera and speaker in order to gain access.

If you happen to be visiting at the school for any reason, please do not go into other classrooms or spaces unless the teacher or another staff member is expecting you. This could be quite disruptive for students and staff.
