Help yourself to anything in the freezer or pantry, including ice cream, ice, rice, instant pancake/waffle mix, snacks, etc. The pantry is the far left cabinet, to the left of the refrigerator. It opens, then opens again. The bottom shelf is where you'll find the dry uncooked rice and pancake/waffle mix. There's also Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Avocado oil in there, if you need to refill the oil dispensers out on the counter.
We have everything for baking, cooking, and drinking. We also have the Asian things.
Please note we generally do not keep perishables in the refrigerator (e.g. milk, eggs), but if we're here before you and I know you're coming, I may leave stuff in the fridge. We will almost always have ketchup, salted butter, maple syrup, chili crisp, and sweet soy sauce in the refrigerator.
The usual:
measuring cups and spoons with mixing bowls
pots, pans, spatulas, knives
silverware, drinkware
Keurig and drip coffeemaker
toaster oven, microwave
bottle openers, wine cork screw
drink mixer
plus much more!
Additional, uncommon things
large electric mixer
Zojirushi 3-cup rice cooker
rotating waffle maker
Please do not overfill the waffle maker. Remember, it expands!
Fill it to about 75%-85% with mix, then immediately rotate.
The Ready green light will come on when it's done. Rotate back, open, and enjoy
electric hot water kettle
sweet soy sauce, garlic powder, Trader Joe's Chile Lime seasong blend
Grilling sheets
Ice cream scoop x 2
Help yourself to the ice cream in the freezer!
Please note there are up to three LO/HI sections for the front burners. These select how many heating elements are used per burner. On the example to the left, going clockwise, the first LO/HI section turns on ALL heating elements, the next section only the inside two, then the next section only one. In other words, to maximize heat output, use the section on the right, to minimize heat output (and maximize efficiency), use the section on the left.
Note that the diameter of the heating elements that will be activated are shown on the burner.
If the description above is not clear, simply experiment without placing anything on the burner, you'll see the heating elements light up so you can understand.
There's a new Weber grill in the garage. The garage door opener can be found in the game closet next to the upstairs bathroom. Please bring the grill to the front courtyard to use it. Please clean it up and put it back in the garage when you are done. I leave it in the garage so it doesn't rust in the salty sea air.
Grilling tools for cooking and cleaning can be found in the kitchen. Please only use the all metal spatula and tongs for cooking on the open flame grill. There are grill sheets in the cutting board cabinet, which is to the left of the dishwasher.
Drinking water is available in the left door of the refrigerator as well as in a standard filtered pitcher in the refrigerator. The built-in door pitcher filter is maintained regularly and the pitcher auto-fills itself when you put it back, so it's quite convenient.
