CEF​ ​is​ ​proud​ ​to​ ​announce​ ​our​ ​new​ ​literacy​ ​tutoring​ ​program,​ ​SOAR​.

Select 2nd graders will receive specialized, one-on-one literacy tutoring. Watch them SOAR!

This new program provides specialized literacy tutoring to some 2nd grade students not meeting literacy benchmarks at North Chatham Elementary School in Chapel Hill and at Virginia Cross Elementary School in Siler City. Tutors​ ​are​ ​trained​ ​with​ ​the​ ​Augustine​ ​Literacy​ ​Project​, a proven​ ​program​ ​with​ ​strong​ ​results​. CEF pays for the tutors’ training. Tutors can receive 3.0 CEU’s for completion of the training. Click the image to the left for more information.
