New Student Pre-Registration for School Year 2026/2027
Chariho Regional School District uses PowerSchool for Online Enrollment. All submissions are secure and provide efficiencies for ease of enrollment. If you have any questions regarding enrollment or the process please call 401-364-3260
Registration Overview
**DO NOT PRE-REGISTER YOUR STUDENT IF THEY HAVE BEEN ENROLLED IN OUR DISTRICT PREVIOUSLY**
Previously enrolled students should contact Central Registration (registration@chariho.k12.ri.us) to complete registration.
Pre-Registration Process
**If your student has been enrolled in Chariho at any time please contact Central Registration (registration@chariho.k12.ri.us) for additional instructions**
Step 1: Complete the Pre-Registration Form - Make sure the email you enter on the Pre-Registration form has been entered correctly.
Step 2: You will receive an email from no-reply@powerschoolcorp.com with the subject line: "Enrollment Pre-Registration Received."
Step 3: Once our Registration Team approves the Pre-Registration, you will receive a second email from no-reply@chariho.k12.ri.us with the subject line: "Chariho Online Registration Process." This email contains instructions to set up your Parent Portal Account and complete the registration forms.
Pre-School Registration: (Registration open 25-26 SY) (26-27 SY Registration TBA)
Must be 3 on or before September 1st: Students must pass the Child Outreach Screening before submitting the Preschool Application. To set up a screening appointment, please contact the Child Outreach Coordinator at 401-364-1160 ext. 2037 or by email at: Lori.Lambert@chariho.k12.ri.us

Kindergarten Registration: (26-27 SY Registration opens February 9, 2026)
All children registering for Kindergarten for the upcoming school year must be 5 years of age on or before September 1.
Early Kindergarten Eligibility- Deadline to submit Eligibility Request is June 1. Early Kindergarten Eligibility Policy Link.
Current Chariho PreK Families please fill out the Kindergarten Intention Form by signing in to your PowerSchool account

School placement is dependent on the District Map and parents will be notified by the Elementary School.
Middle School Registrations: (Registration opens May 4, 2026)

Students must be registered with Chariho Regional School District
Must provide a locator card from the town hall
Transportation request for students attending CTC programs at : EWG, Narragansett, North Kingstown, South Kingstown or Westerly must submit a transportation request each year to Ocean State Transit T
