Looking Back

Our Life Skills Program Hosted a visit from Senator Reed

Students in our Life Skills Program hosted a visit from Senator Reed earlier this month.  They provide the Senator with an official welcome at the main entrance, a tour of the library, asked him interview questions, and wrapped up the visit with a conversation over breakfast.  The Senator shared that he really enjoyed meeting with the students and they had a great time as well.  For more information, you can read more about it in the Westerly Sun at the link HERE.

A Sensory-Sensitive Play by the Chariho Theatre Co.

In late April, our CHS Theatre Co. performed a sensory-sensitive version of the Little Mermaid to CHS and CMS students as well as students from nearby high schools.  This was the first play of its kind performed here at Chariho.  We are so incredibly proud that our Theatre Co. created this adapted play. It was an amazing performance!  Come and see the Little Mermaid May 3rd through May 5th!

SAB presentation to 8th graders

Student leaders from our Student Advisory Board presented to 8th graders earlier this month.  They presented the "Top 10 Things I Wish I Knew Coming to CHS".  We are very proud of our students leaders and we enjoyed meeting with our future 9th graders.
