Zac! version 3

Zac

Zac's character design is largely based on that of any other 2nd grader. Characterized by is bowl-cut and his comically chunky kid sneakers, he is the main character of the story.

Zac's appearance was made with that of many other peanut-allergy havers in mind- that is to say, an average normal person. Zac's only tell-tale signs of his allergy are his medical wristband.

Storyboards + Rough Sketches

A large part of Story Art and the Game art process is the development behind it. The images shown above are all parts of that same process! In S1 , I layered over some flat color values (the shadows and lighter colors), and began to add some sketches around the edges (for dramatics). In S2. I used color mapping to begin adding colors and began to further sketch out the scene. S3 is what I usually start with, and is what most of the art starts off as. -daisy
