At the end of each marking period, your average in ELA will come from all assignments, tests, quizzes, homework, and classwork.

Point System

Every assignment that we complete will have a point value. Your marking period grades will be determined by the ratio of number of points that you earned for the marking period to the total number of points available.

Be On Time

All work submitted on time, on the due date discussed will receive full credit. Any work submitted late will receive a five-point deduction. Each day after until the assignment is turned in is an additional five-point deduction.

Make-Up Work

If you’re absent, it is your responsibility to make up all work, tests, and assignments that you missed. When you’re absent, you must obtain missed work from Ms. Torchia when you return to class. If you miss class, but are in school, you must see Ms. Torchia to hand in any due assignments, and obtain the work that you missed that day.
