Jadyn Picolet competed at the 3A State Cross Country meet at Rim Rock Farm in Lawrence. Jadyn finished 12th overall and set a new PR of 16:48. Jadyn has been the boys top runner for the Braves the past two seasons. What a great way to finish the season! Congratulations, Jadyn!

The Braves traveled to Wichita Trinity to run at their chance to make it to state. The running conditions were muddy and sloppy as it constantly rained. Runners had to fight through tough competition, but also had to battle standing and running water, and mud slicked hills. Jadyn Picolet came out in 5th place which qualified him for state. This is Jadyn's 3rd trip to state! The boys team finished 7th. Individual results for the boys were: Jaydn Picolet 5th, Brody Nelson 46th, Hayden Horton 47th, Carter Bremer 56th, Brayden Jarvis 78th, and Aaron Crotts 95th.
The Braves had three girls race with Castyn Andres placing 64th, Haylee Nielsen 71st, and Savanah Johnson 72nd.

The Braves hosted the FHL Cross Country meet.
The boys placed 3rd. Individual Results: Jadyn Picolet 2nd; Brody Nelson 14th; Carter Bremer 16th; Hayden Horton 20th; Brayden Jarvis 21st; Aaron Crotts 31st; Daniel Most 35th. JV Boys results: Casten Honer 10th and Ronnie Mayer 11th.

The Braves traveled to Osage City.
The boys individual results (out of 76 runners): Brayden Jarvis 41st, Daniel Most 73rd. On the JV side (out of 33 runners): Casten Honer 30th and Ronnie Mayer 31st.
On the girls side (out of 64 runners), Castyn Andres finished 50th, Savanah Johnson finished 56th, and Haylee Nielsen finished 57th.
The Braves hosted their invitational meet with 338 junior/senior high runners from 23 schools.
The boys finished in 5th. Individual results: Jadyn Picolet 3rd, Brody Nelson 21st, Carter Bremer 25th, Hayden Horton 35th, Brayden Jarvis 36th, Aaron Crotts 66th, Daniel Most 75th. In the JV boys race, Ronnie Mayer finished 39th.
On the girls side, Castyn Andres finished 41st, Haylee Nielsen finished 44th and Savanah Johnson finished 45th.
In the season's biggest race so far, the Braves had a good day as every runner posted a PR or season best time at Rim Rock.
The boys race had 503 total runners. Individual results for the Braves: Jadyn Picolet 25th, Carter Bremer 130th, Brody Nelson 174th, Hayden Horton 258th, Brayden Jarvis 270th, Aaron Crotts 438th, and Daniel Most 483rd.
The girls race had 376 total runners. Castyn Andres finished 326th, Savanah Johnson finished 344th, and Haylee Nielsen finished 345th.

The cross country boys team placed 3rd as a team at the Jason McKinney Memorial XC meet. The Braves left with 4 PRs, 4 season best times, and 4 medals. Individual results: Jadyn Picolet 3rd, Brody Nelson 13th, Carter Bremer 15th, Brayden Jarvis 22nd, Hayden Horton 23rd, Aaron Crotts 45th, and Ronnie Mayer 74th.
In the high school girls race, Castyn Andres finished 32nd and Savanah Johnson finished 40th.

The team traveled to Newton-Bethel College for the Swather Invitational. The boys finished 10th. This meet they do things a little differently and each grade level runs their own race. For the juniors, Jadyn Picolet finished 3rd, Brody Nelson finished 22nd, and Daniel Most finished 46th. For the sophomore boys race, Carter Bremer finished 21st and Hayden Horton finished 30th. The freshmen boys race included Brayden Jarvis finishing 18th, Aaron Crotts 37th, and Ronnie Mayer 67th.
On the girls side, Senior Castyn Andres finished 24th in the senior division, Savanah Johnson finished 27th in the junior division, and Haylee Nielsen finished 39th in the sophomore division.

The Cross Country team traveled to Mission Valley where the boys team came home with a 2nd place finish. Individual results: Jadyn Picolet 3rd, Brody Nelson 15th, Carter Bremer 16th, Hayden Horton 21st, Brayden Jarvis 23rd, and Aaron Crotts 35th.
The JV Boys consisted of Casten Honer 15th and Ronnie Mayer 16th. The High School girls were Castyn Andres 22nd and Haylee Nielsen 25th.
