Mr. Gant also spends time each day checking in on other staff members and making sure that the rest of the staff is doing okay. Thank you Mr. Gant, for making CGJSHS a better place each day for both students and staff!

Mr. Reddick is the November, staff "Extra Mile" award winner!  Mr. Reddick serves as a junior and senior high school Science teacher.  Mr. Reddick is also an assistant high school football coach as well as the head high school track coach. Mr. Reddick  does an amazing job in the classroom engaging his students in science. Mr. Reddick is also an extraordinary coach.  Mr. Reddick volunteers his time to provide an early morning weightlifting session for all students and is a big reason for the increased interest in weightlifting at CGJSHS.  Mr. Reddick has also spent countless hours researching and gathering historical information about our football program over the last year to better promote the program and CGJSHS.  Thank you Mr. Reddick for everything you to do make CGJSHS the best school in Kansas!

Congratulations to our October staff, "Extra Mile" award winner, Tina McIver.  Mrs. McIver has transitioned from the classroom to her new role as CGJSHS Librarian.  Mrs. McIver has done an amazing job with the transition and is working hard to use her role in the Library to make things easier for staff and students using technology throughout our building as well as all library resources.  Thank you Mrs. McIver for continuing to make the Library a special place for our students and staff.  We appreciate all of your hard work!

Our September staff "Extra Mile" award winner is Kim Coover. Mrs. Coover teaches high school biology and serves as the CGJSHS HOSA sponsor. Mrs. Coover introduced the HOSA organization (Future Health Professionals) to CGJSHS which allows students with an interest in the health care industry to explore the industry and take courses that support their interest. Thank you Mrs. Coover for being an important part in helping students prepare for their future careers and making a positive impact on all of your students!

At Council Grove Jr./Sr. High School we have a tradition of recognizing outstanding staff members throughout the year with the "Extra Mile" award. This year we would like to share these award winners with our community.

Our first "Extra Mile" award winner this year is Mrs. Keeley Reddick. Mrs. Reddick is always willing to help with any activity at CGJSHS. She changed teaching assignments late in the summer and is doing an amazing job with our FACS program. Mrs. Reddick also put together one of the best yearbooks in Kansas as well as helping lead the 2021-2022 Bravettes to a 2nd place finish in state competition.

Thank you, Mrs. Reddick! We are lucky to have you!
